Jaya to the meadow
This illustration was influenced by my cat Jaya, I love spending time in my garden in summer and watching my cat enjoy nature brings me a lot of joy. I took a very different style approach for this illustration to what I usually do. I started off by creating a sketch of my cat which I then turned into a stylised line drawing and inked it in pen by hand. I then scanned the inked line drawing and used adobe illustrator to turn it into a digital vector illustration. From there I tidied up some of my line work and used layers to add the colour. Although I tidied up some of the line work, I was careful to keep the 'hand drawn' feel that creates the style of the image. I used fewer tints for this illustration to keep the colour palette bold and striking
